Chris Bianco brings a lifelong passion for music, harmony, and leadership to his role as Assistant Director of the Low Country Chorus. A proud graduate of Northwestern University, Chris earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Applied Trumpet Performance, where he studied conducting under the legendary John P. Paynter and trumpet under Vincent Chicowitz of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

His career in music spans education, performance, and direction. As a professional trumpet player, he has performed with orchestras, jazz ensembles, rock bands, and in studio recording sessions, bringing both precision and artistry to every performance.

Within the Barbershop Harmony Society, Chris’s primary voice part is Bass, though he also performs Baritone and Tenor in several quartets within the Low Country Chorus chapter. He is also a long-standing member of the Hunterdon Harmonizers of Flemington, New Jersey, maintaining strong musical ties to his home chorus. His dedication and leadership were recognized when he was named Barbershopper of the Year in 2023.

Beyond music, Chris is a seasoned business executive and community leader, serving on multiple nonprofit and professional boards. He is the President & CIO of TeamLogic IT Myrtle Beach, Certified Mentor and Marketing Vice-Chair for SCORE Grand Strand District, and a Board Member of Hunterdon Chamber Radio and the Leadership Hunterdon Alumni Board. His rare combination of artistic excellence, organizational leadership, and community engagement continues to strengthen the chorus’s sound, spirit, and outreach throughout the Grand Strand and beyond.
